Search rankings
Search rankings show where the site appears in Google for the keywords it ranks for.
What is counted
Section titled “What is counted”- Keywords in the top 10 and top 3: keywords where the site ranks on the first page, or in the first three results.
- Organic keywords: every keyword the site ranks for in the top 100.
- Organic traffic: an estimate of monthly visits from those rankings.
Rankings are counted. Traffic from rankings is estimated: it is modelled from positions and search volume, not measured. For the clicks Google actually recorded, connect Search Console.
History
Section titled “History”When a project is created, up to a year of monthly ranking history is filled in, so the chart starts with a trend. After that, each run adds a point. On the Overview, the monthly history is drawn dashed and each run after it as a solid line.
Rank tracking
Section titled “Rank tracking”Keywords you add on the Rankings page are checked on each run, and Check now checks them live at any time. Each one shows the position, the change since the last check, the page that ranks, and which extras appeared on the results page (an AI Overview, a featured snippet, People Also Ask).
