Google Analytics

Connect Google Analytics 4 to see visits to the site, including the visits that came from AI answers. These are measured by your own analytics, not estimated.

Connect Google Analytics under the project’s Settings → Integrations, then choose the property that tracks this project’s site. Agent Number 10 checks the property’s web streams and refuses one that measures a different site.

A visit counts as coming from an AI answer when Google Analytics records its source as an AI engine: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Meta AI, Grok, DeepSeek and a few others. The Overview’s “Visits from AI answers” counts these.

This undercounts, in two ways. Some AI apps open links without saying where the visitor came from, and those visits land in direct traffic. And a click from a Google AI Overview arrives as ordinary Google search traffic, so it cannot be separated.

“Unassigned” is Google Analytics’ own label for sessions it could not put in any channel. Agent Number 10 shows it as Google reports it rather than guessing where those visits came from.
